I decided to start blogging about my trip from the get go! So here I am waiting to board my flight to Denver then of to NYC! I think I have wanted to be in Time square since I was a fetus.
To take the measure of a city, you need to get out of the tourist zones and explore a residential neighborhood. But some cities, such as New York, have so many to choose from. Jay Z, Anthony Bourdain, and countless pop culture clicks and sites just makes you realize that every inch of NYC deserves to be explored. So in the next few days I will try and cover as much as I can and try and do a better job at keeping a virtual record of my little mini escape from the grasslands.
